I’m honored you’re here

Hi, I’m Sri.

That picture there? Yep, that's me.

In the photo, you’ll notice I’m going through a pretty intense moment during SEAL training appropriately called “drownproofing.” My hands and legs are tied, and I’m chugging my way across the pool. In this one of many pass-fail tests for aspiring SEALs, panicking would be an irreversible spiral.

Some folks say that these facts sum me up well. I’m the kind of person who keeps grinding along no matter how bad the odds. And I remain calm under fire.

But hey, I’m just like anyone else. I’ve had my fair share of slip-ups.

Sure, I’ve been fortunate enough to attend the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, serve as a Navy SEAL, join MENSA, graduate from Harvard Business School, write for the Financial Times (albeit online!), and work with some big-name companies like Amazon, Wayfair, and Capital One. But those are just places. The true value they have is the lessons I learned at each, which I am excited to share with you.

I know what it’s like to face tall odds. After all, I was one of the skinniest guys to enter special operations training. Once on the battlefield, we often found ourselves outnumbered. And in the past, it wasn't easy to find a reputable tech company willing to hire a military veteran, let alone one without an engineering degree.

So... I understand you and your team.

You aim to win, and you don’t give up. Neither do I.

The Naval Academy’s motto is "Through knowledge, power."

Nerding out with teams about operational problems is a joy. I love connecting different ideas and tackling operational challenges together.

Let’s jump in the water and not just survive.

Let’s thrive.
